This Ruland single friction bearing universal joint has 16mm x 0.6250" bores, a 1.245" (31.6mm) outer diameter, and a 3.750" (95.3mm) length. It is best suited for applications requiring a short length and high torque (when compared to double universal joints of an equivalent OD). This single universal joint is made of a block, two pins, and two yokes. These components are manufactured to tight tolerances using proprietary processes that ensure smooth operation and high misalignment accommodation up to 45°, which is a significant improvement over commodity style single universal joints.
