20 in. x 9/16 in. Spiral Non-Tilt Balance, Red Tip Single Pack, Prime-Line, Mfr#: FJ 2020

This is a non-tilt style spiral balance with a red bushing at its tip. It has a bow tie shaped device installed in the end of the spiral rod. The bow tie engages a balance foot that has been installed on the bottom edge of the window (vent) with a dual hook protruding out from the corner for the bow tie to engage. Often it is used on wood windows, but may be found on others as well. This balance is 20 in. long and 9/16 in. in diameter. It is charged or wound up using the Prime-Line part H 3788 Tensioning Tool.
